Illuminating the Negative : Infinite Horizons : 2001-2009

“While there is perhaps a province in which the photograph can tell us nothing more than what we see with our own eyes, there is another in which it proves to us how little our eyes permit us to see.” ~ Dorothea Lange

One basic theme of all mythology is that there is an invisible plane supporting the visible one and that creative thought depends on one’s ability to tap into the invisible...The images in the Infinite Horizons series were inspired by the drama and lyricism of the watery realm that surrounds us: infinite panoramic space,
chimerical qualities of light, fleeting reflections, the presence of wind.
                          25” x 25” Fujicolor prints • editions of 15
The Infinite Horizons series is featured in the book Illuminating the Negative : Nine Years of Photographs
